WHAT IS CLIL?

The creation of this website is a CLIL project made by the Italian class 5C of “Eugenio Montale Institute”

in Tradate (VA). This was our teacher Michele Vanzulli's idea. He teaches international right and relations

The class is composed by 21 people, divided up into groups.

They did a research about a cultural and social theme chose by the Professor, “International trade”

and “The rights of workers”, using Computers and Tablets to develop the work.

This website, created by two members of the class, is the final outcome of all the work.

 

CLIL means content language integrated learning and it involves learning a not linguistic subject in a foreign language, in this case in English.

Our project wants to explain to the public how workers are exploited in the poorest world countries and what there’s behind the chocolate and garment industry.

We choose to develop this topic because it is an important problem that society has been facing for years
